Friday, March 03, 2006Dog HousesDog Houses aren't really considered garden architecture in the decorative sense, but these dog houses really prove that they can be. As a small dog breed owner, I'd have to say that the Thoroughbred Dog House (the one with a bunny pictured in the doorway; pictured above) would be my choice. A little known odd fact about chihuahuas is that they enjoy sitting aloft. If they could sit atop my parent's vehicles, they would. I don't know why this particular breed acts this way, but I've been the co-owner of 7 myself and all 7 of them act this way! Anyway, the most expensive dog house featured is the Companion Dog House, complete with a porch for the dog! I think it's a little much myself, but it also comes in a mini size for smaller breeds or puppies. P.S. Notice the chimney!! Labels: dogs
