Tuesday, February 06, 2007Beam's Choice Holiday Decanter Bottle: The Blue Boy This is a bourbon bottle I bought about a week ago at a thrift shop. The bottle comes with a tag attached to its neck and the image of "The Blue Boy" is clear although it's rough to the touch, with a sand-like texture. According to the tag it was part of a set of four produced by Spectru-Lite through Jim Beam; however the label does not include "The Blue Boy" as one of the four in the Holiday Collector's series, which is odd since it obviously is. There are tons of collectible Jim Beam decanters, some of which can be found here. Beam's Choice, one of Jim Beam's many manufacturing labels, has been around for more than 200 years. "The Blue Boy" painting can be found on both Animal Crossing video games. It is known as the 'Basic Painting' in AC: WW. Labels: glassware
