Hiwheel Planter

Here are a couple Hiwheels, which were made into garden decorations/planters, from the company Rideable Bicycle Replicas. I think it's a cute idea, but I also think it would look better if the bike had some patina to it-- not so new and fresh. However, I would always be tempted to hop on the bike and ride it around the yard :P My argument would be, "I'm just helping to give the plants an equal distribution of sunlight," hehehehe.

Bumble Bee

Black and yellow
Little fur bee
Buzzing away
In the timothy
Drowsy
Browsy
Lump of a bee
Rumbly
Tumbly
Bumbly bee.
Where are you taking
Your golden plunder?
Humming along
Like baby thunder?
Over the clover
And over the hay
Then over the apple trees
Zoom away

Adult Trikes and Rickshaw Bikes

I luff these three wheel bicycles. They're often called adult trikes or adult tricycles and usually have a basket in the back. This particular bike is actually called a
rickshaw bicycle, although it is very different from the more popular Asian man-pulled rickshaw. I've seen a few people in countries like Italy or France can go for a ride through the streets and gardens in a pedi cab that is peddled by an apparently very able-legged man, but that is, of course, not such a daunting task when it is compared to the man-pulled richshaw.

Gomier makes some really nice-looking three wheeled bikes with baskets that go for about $700, but you can get a really good deal for the same Gomier bikes at this eBay store. The rickshaw bike pictured above is a limited edition bike made by Rideable Bike Replicas. It's a replica of an actual antiqueand it's being sold for $895, minus shipping expenses. You can see more of these intriguing bikes here. And while you're there take a peek at the cool accessories section- the bike bells are so cute!

Beam's Choice Holiday Decanter Bottle: The Blue Boy

This is a bourbon bottle I bought about a week ago at a thrift shop. The bottle comes with a tag attached to its neck and the image of "The Blue Boy" is clear although it's rough to the touch, with a sand-like texture. According to the tag it was part of a set of four produced by Spectru-Lite through Jim Beam; however the label does not include "The Blue Boy" as one of the four in the Holiday Collector's series, which is odd since it obviously
is. There are tons of collectible Jim Beam decanters, some of which can be found here.

Beam's Choice, one of Jim Beam's many manufacturing labels, has been around for more than 200 years.

"The Blue Boy" painting can be found on both
Animal Crossing video games. It is known as the 'Basic Painting' in AC: WW.
